Caseificio San Leonardo was founded in 1988 from an intuition of Mario La Marca, who shaped his company in respect of the ancient local tradition, in an area, that of Salerno and Province, where mozzarella and dairy products have always been synonymous with quality and excellence.

The second generation, represented by Giacomo La Marca assisted by his brothers Luca and Mauro, continues in the wake of the line traced by Mario La Marca and lays the foundations for a penetration into international markets, focusing on the absolute quality of products and a widespread distribution network.

Today, San Leonardo Dairy is an established business. The only dairy plant within the perimeter of the city of Salerno, it operates with respect for ancient processing techniques and, thanks to the use of modern, certified and efficient technologies that have optimized the production process, brings to the table every day a wide range of dairy products, 100% made in Salerno.

The milk comes only and exclusively from cattle carefully selected from those in the province of Salerno and arrives, very fresh, at the plant on Via San Leonardo, where it is processed by master cheesemakers and the dairy staff to bring to life, every day, the masterpiece of #BuonaMozzarellaDiSalerno.

The stores, stocked daily, offer a wide range of products that are always fresh: from mozzarella, the white gold of Salerno province, to yogurt and aged cheeses.

The dairy, in addition to marketing San Leonardo brand products, distributes them to a number of restaurant businesses located throughout the country.

The new challenge, is to increase exports, bringing Made In Salerno excellence to international markets.
